
It was a weekend filled with treasures for the multitude of fandoms as FanFes 2026: Tranquil Topaz brought fans together last May 16 and 17 at Halls A-D of Space at One Ayala. Staying true to its roots, Fanfes brings the joys of art and fandom to the community, bringing forth an incredible array of exhibitors, games, panel discussions, contests, auctions, performances, showmatches and fabulous guests.

FanFes has always been a showcase of the best in fan-derived and original content from amazing creators. With a blistering number of exhibit booths, this event has long supported our incredible local talent who produce original as well as fan-derived work. Attendees were dazzled by the exquisite creations of artists who have poured their burning passion and talent into artwork, collectibles, merch and accessories, each a unique and genuine masterpiece.






FanFes 2026’s spectacular guest cosplayer from Malaysia, Riyuku-Kei, got to join the festivities for special appearances, Q&A Sessions and a special performance. She also had Autograph Signing and Photography Sessions and she got to judging some of the contests as well.






Amazing stage activities kept attendees excited and engaged all weekend long led by its fantastic hosts Envy, Geneva and Joaqui, with exciting stage games like Price Fight and Guess the Sketch.





There were engaging panel discussions at Think Talk discussed pressing and enlightening subjects regarding the community, with panelists Pomponmy, Katie Cakey, Hazel Velas-Solomon, Carleen Ryu, Noir Freitag and Moogi Dayo.




Fabulous cosplay auctions gave the audience the chance to bid on amazing new or pre-loved treasures, with some starting at just one peso.



Brilliant performances by Project Sosei and DNE kept the audience excited and hyped all weekend.




Sensational singing contests including Anisong Unleashed and Cosplay Karaoke, where arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Lia was one of the judges alongside Vera Mare and Fanfes 2026’s guest Ryukku-K, had the audience humming and singing along and cheering for their favorite contestants.













Cosplay contests like Solo Cosplay Catwalk and the Golden Cosplay Contest showed amazing performances by incredibly talented cosplayers and judged by seasoned cosplayers Gibs Sagun, Shifu, Moogi Dayo, and Ryukku-K.












Co-Presentor Honor of Kings had an amazing booth featuring its collaboration with Attack on Titan with amazing standees and set props that recreated the feel of the world-renowned series. They also had a stellar showmatch on stage with 10 of the hottest influences in gaming and cosplay. At the end of Day 2, Honor of Kings gave away those amazing standees in a raffle to lucky attendees who completed the event’s Sidequest.









All Star Avenue gave fans the chance to interact with their favorite cosplayers and personalities for meet and greet sessions and wonderful prints and merch.



The next major event, ACX 2026, was unveiled on the second day, and it was announced that CMYK from Thailand will be the special guest cosplayer for the event.


Ir was an incredible weekend that celebrated the many fascinating fandoms in the community, with thousands of attendees coming in throughout the weekend, making it one of the biggest of celebration of fans this season that enjoyed the many attractions, performances, and special guests that Fanfes 2026 had to offer.
