Reaching an incredible milestone of bringing the best of cosplay, anime, and J-culture in the Philippines, Cosplay Mania 2026: Dazzling Diamond was a rare and precious gem to be treasured as it delighted fans from all over the world last October 2-4, 2024 at Halls 1-4 of the SMX Convention Center Manila. As it celebrated its 18th year as the biggest cosplay and J-culture event in the country, Cosplay Mania has become the mecca for generations of fans of cosplay, anime, J-music, hobbies, and pop culture as it presented the most brilliant attractions and special guests.
Always raising the bar and fulfilling high expectations as the most anticipated cosplay and J-culture event each and every year, Cosplay Mania has had a long and storied tradition of bringing fandoms from all over the world together in one venue. On its eighteenth year, Cosplay Mania 2026 definitely the grandest ever, spanning three whole days with over 9,000 square meters of convention space, filled with hundreds of exhibitors with exclusive and rare merch and the most amazing attractions,.
With many international guests taking part in the festivities, it was an event that had something for everyone, All Star Avenue also welcomed fans of local and international cosplayers and artists like Hikarin, Yosuke, Rithe, Zackt and Roxanne Kho, Kyosuke and Jeyel and Shifu, Lia Bear, Pomponmy and Kousei, and our website’s member Jane Yu.
Outstanding international cosplayers Thames, Ying Tze and Prestonles were Cosplay Mania 2026’s spectacular guest cosplayers and they thrilled their fans with engaging meet and greet sessions and special appearances. The famous Ikémen Series producer and resident cosplayer Hiroto Kuramasu was also there for special appearances to spread the influence of otaku andotome culture worldwide with CYBIRD.
The Cosplay Mania SP Stage delivered a dazzling program over three days led by its awe-inspiring hosts Pau, Kenkoy, Naru, Envy, and arkadymac.com’s Editor-in-chief, Jillian, as they featured special guests like amazing American voice actress and singer Diana Garnet who wowed the Filipino audience with his vocal talents and singing prowess on stage on stage, with our Naru hosting the segment.
Beloved Canadian cosplayer Hikarin made her final appearance in the Philippines as a cosplayer at the Cosplay Mania stage with our Jillian as the host. She shared her journey into cosplay and showed her utmost appreciation to her Filipino fans who have supported her throughout the years.
The SP Stage saw three amazing three huge contests with some of the biggest prizes ever, as Cosplay Solo Showdown, Cosplay Mania Cup and Cosplay Karaoke Cup featured furious battles with winners from previous Cosplay.ph events battling it out to really know who was the best of the best, the champion among champions.
VTuber fans had a lot to be gleeful about with appearances from some of the the most-celebrated VTubers in the world as Féileacán Cú and HOLOSTARS English Jurard T Rexford, Octavio, Machina x Flayon and Banzoin Hakka amazed fans with special guest appearances and even some games for friendly competition on stage.
Other stage attractions delighted audiences from start to finish. Vibrant DJs from Japan held the Anisound Sessions as Akiba Sonic rocked the SMX with amazing beats. Co-Presentor Nissin Cup Noodles and Nissin Yakisoba had fun games on stage and gave away amazing prizes, while Gold Sponsor Mountain Dew got to be the “Fuel for Advencha” at Cosplay Mania with engaging challenges for incredible prizes on stage.
The JAM Concert was the biggest J-music event of the year and got to feature stellar international artists. Day 1 had the legendary Nami Tamaki in a full convert as part of her Starbound Tour, with sensational Vtuber Kiichan as the Opening Act.
Day 2 of the JAM Concert brought in two of the biggest Hololive Vtubers for the first time in the country: Ayunda Risu and Momosuzu Nene, along with opening act, CGT 2026 Runner-Up, Miyomi.
The third and final day of the JAM Concert was a history one as 3 phenomenal artists: Annchan, Mindaryn and Zaq, had their most brilliant performances, along with opening act, Cosplay’s Got Talent Champion: Niko Lab.
With so many attractions and surprises in store for its attendees, Cosplay Mania 2026 was definitely the most dazzling display of cosplay and J-culture in the country ever, with thousands upon thousands of attendees from here and abroad passing through its gates over three spectacular days.
The organizers, Cosplay.ph, have also announced their next event, CosMeet 2026, to be held at The Cove of Okada Manila, with guest cosplayer Weian Vann.
