The inclement weather was not enough to stop revelers from all over the metro in enjoying an innovative yet thrilling experience at Tokyo Drip at The Fun Roof at Poblacion, Makati City last July 4, 2025. Organized by Never Sober Manila, Tokyo Drip was a night club and mini pop-up cosplay convention that brought anime and gaming culture to a neon-filled goodness,
Never Sober Manila brought a day full of fresh and exciting experiences at Tokyo Drip, and the Fun Roof was the deal venue for the extreme fun that went on from the afternoon all throughout the night. It had mini gaming booths, meet and greets, a Dress to Impress cosplay competition, and an event filled with J-music, sick basslines, beat drops, and even more attractions like the Super Saiyan Slushie Shots, Battle Beyblade Arena, the Tekken Tournament Touchdown, Birdie Wing Mini-Golf, and Chunin Exams: Shuriken Throw, the Ace of Diamond Batting Cage, Slam Dunk Shooting Championships, the Counter-Strike Shooting Challenge, and Crazy Curling.
We are thrilled that Tokyo Drip got to invite and welcome cosplayers for the event, and many attractions and contests have been centered around them. It made for a fun and colorful event where everyone couuld relax and have fun.
Providing the beats for Tokyo Drip were exciting anime remixes and anime club (AniKura), Dirty Basslines, J-pop flips, Club bangers, anthems, and many more with DJs like JINXX, CHELLE IBAÑEZ, NICDROID, and ROLF, with supporting DJs like DJ CHAVO, and DJ SIGLUS.
Not withstanding the weather, Tokyo Drip was a fun and innovative event that reached out to the anime, cosplay, music and hobby communities and gave them an experience they won’t soon forget.
