Celebrating an incredible milestone of 25 phenomenal years of cosplay in the Philippines. Cosplay Mania 2025: Awesome Autumn delivered a stupendous cosplay and J-music experience that was definitely the biggest this year. Itself already on its seventeenth year of being the biggest annual cosplay event in the country, CosMania, as it has been affectionately called by generations of fans of cosplay, anime, J-music, hobbies, and pop culture, presented the most colossal attractions and special guests last October 3-5, 2024 at Halls 1-4 of the SMX Convention Center Manila.
Striving to fulfill high expectations as the most anticipated cosplay and J-culture event each and every year, Cosplay Mania has had a long and storied tradition of bringing fandoms from all over the world together in one venue. On its seventeenth year, Cosplay Mania 2025 is the most gigantic ever, spread over three whole days with over 9,000 square meters of convention space, filled with more than 200 exhibitors with exclusive and rare merch, and over a dozen international guests taking part in the festivities, it was an event that had something for everyone, including new limited-edition items sold at the Cosshoppe booth, and fan-favorite brands such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and the much-talked-about Metapark Pop-Up Store: ALIEN STAGE. All Star Avenue also welcomed fans of local and international cosplayers and artists like Zackt and Roxanne Kho, Carleen and Shifu, Meenfox and JJAMx, Lia Bear, Pomponmy, Eri Strawberry, and our website’s members Jane Yu, Keilleen and Vanessa.
World-recognized cosplayers Thames and Le Josette were Cosplay Mania 2025’s incredible guest cosplayers and they thrilled their fans with engaging meet and greet sessions and special appearances. The famous Ikémen Series producer and resident cosplayer Hiroto Kuramasu, resturn for a special appearance in the Philippines to spread the influence of otaku and otome culture worldwide with CYBIRD.
The SP Stage delivered a massive attack of star power led by its awe-inspiring hosts Pau, Korin, Naru and Envy, as it featured the amazing American voice actor Jacob Takanashi wowed the Filipino audience with his vocal talents on stage. , brilliantly known for his impeccable works as Pacciani in Captain Tsubasa, Griff from Far-Fetched, and Kinich Exceptional Japanese stage actors renowned for their striking performance in Haikyuu!! Hyper Projection Play series, Kousuke Asuma and Kairi Miura, thrilled their Filipino fans with a special appearance on the Cosplay Mania Stage.
The SP Stage delivered two huge contests with some of the biggest prizes ever, as Cosplay Mania Cup and Cosplay Karaoke Cup featured furious battles with winners from previous Cosplay.ph events battling it out to really know who was the best of the best, the champion among champions.
VTuber fans ahd a lot to be joyful about with the appearances from the most-celebrated VTubers in the country as HOLOSTARS English -ARMIS-: Jurard T Rexford, Crimson Ruze, Goldbullet, and Octavio, World-wide sensation Unnamed amazed fans with a special guest appearance and even got to play a game with the audience.
The most vibrant artists got to perform at the Anisound Sessions at the EX Stage for all days of the event, which included VOLS, FuyumiiChan, Amai Konpeito on Day 1, with Eggy Tamagoki, Niko Lab, Mihoyana, and ShounenJam on Day 2, and Dasu, Day/Break, Zhia, Ryndia, and Kena and Miyuki on Day 3. Everyone got to party as night fell with Japan’s famous DJs—DJ Eldoramodel, DJ Daizin, and DJ Mango-Man, as members of Akiba Sonic for all three days. There were also lots of contests and games that kept the crowd excited all weekend long, led by its fantastic hosts, Kenkoy, Fatima, KiraKiraKat and .Mark.
The JAM Concert was the single biggest J-music event of the year and got to feature stellar international artists. The Maestro of HOLOSTARS English -ARMIS-, Octavio and the fascinating the Japanese musical unit, Sangatsu no Phantasia, amazed audiences at the opening night, with Opening Act, Mi Use!
The extremely talented musician STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION and musical icon TRUE enthralled the audience on JAM Concert’s second night, with the the dynamic team of NANAI TATAI as the energetic opening act.
JAM Concert’s third day saw the unrivaled musical talents of sensational Vtuber, Unnämed, the incredible duo of angela and the legendary Shouta Aoi, with Cosplay’s Got Talent Champion, Raindrop, as opening act.
With so many attractions and surprises in store for its attendees, Cosplay Mania 2025 indeed was the most awesome cosplay and J-culture in the country ever, with thousands upon thousands of attendees from here and abroad passing through its gates over three spectacular days.
The organizers, Cosplay.ph, has also announced unveiled their next event, CosMeet 2025, to be held at Okada Manila, with special guest cosplayer Ing from South Korea.
