In what would be remembered as one of the most phenomenal performances by a Japanese band in the country this year, BURNOUT SYNDROMES got to rock Manila last September 5, 2026, at The Crossroads Center as they brought their spectacular high-energy brand of music for the first time ever to the Philippines.

Event organizer Wish us Luck.brought the wildly famous Japanese band to Manila to the delight and excitement of their multitude of Filipino fans. Burnout Syndromes is really well loved by anime fans worldwide because they gave life to the music of endearing and memorable anime, with hit songs like “FLY HIGH!”, “Hikariare”, and “PHOENIX” from “Haikyuu!!”, “Good Morning World!” and “ROCKET” from “Dr. STONE”, and “Hanaichimonme” from “Gintama” among others, as well as celebrating the successful release of their newest album, 《ハイキュー!!×BOS – 主題歌たちの宴 -》 (Haikyu!! × BOS – Shudaika-tachi no Utage –).

Fans truly got to cherish and relish the band’s first time performing in the Philippines. Before the concert, a photo op and hi-touch session delighted fans to who had the chance to meet their idols up close and made the event experience even more more memorable.

The opening act was the Japanese duo fuyu. Proclaiming to be Filipinos at heart, Fumiya and Yukan.performed their original songs which had a unique style of mixing English, Japanese, and Filipino lyrics altogether, and it was totally loved by the audience.

BURNOUT SYNDROMES performed their most popular songs from Haikyuu like “Fly High” and “Hikare Are;” and “Good Morning World” from Dr. Stone. They even changed the lyrics to “Ohayou sekai – Good morning Philippines.” Aside from that, they also performed their other original songs using their style which infuses the traditional Japanese scale with modern JRock together with heart warming lyrics which left the audience with happy tears.

The band expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome the Filipinos have shown them and promised that they will come back. Their first concert in the country was nothing short of historic; it was an emotional, engaging and euphoric experience that everyone who turned up to watch, listen and commune will treasure as an unforgettable milestone in their fandom, one that will crave and clamor for a return performance sometime in the future.
