After a successful inaugural event last year with over 6,000 attendees and featuring an amazing lineup of exhibitors and attractions, ESGS, E-Sports and Gaming Summit, is coming back with even more things to enjoy. As one of the biggest and most anticipated e-sports competitions and gaming conventions, ESGS 12015 is set to happen on October 24-25, 2015 at Function Rooms 1 to 4 of the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. ESGS is organized by Gariath Concepts and co-presented by PLDT Home and GameX. arkadymac.com has been a media partner since last year’s event, so we’re excited to bring you the action again as we do this year’s coverage as well.
With e-sports solidifying its presence in the Philippine scene, several e-sport and gaming organizations will take part as official tournament organizers with well establish gaming titles. ESGS will also be introducing a new brand competition called Brawlfest. It will comprise of different fighting game titles. Specific gaming titles will be announced in the future.
Many different local and international gaming companies will be exhibiting and showcasing their games in various platforms. Also for the first time this year, ESGS is bridging game developers to hardcore gamers by exhibiting the finest independent games through its “PLDT Home / GameX” Indie Game Showcase. Indie Arena is an area that is specifically made for independent games from various developers. The chosen developers/games, coming from local and possibly international countries will have a chance to showcase their games to the public during ESGS 2015
Cosplay will be a part of the festivities too, with an exciting cosplay competition offering the coolest prizes.
The ticket cost P185/day. There will be some freebies which will be announced in the future. The ESGS 2015 tickets are available in all SM Ticket outlet located in all SM Cinemas nationwide. Due to safety concerns, the organizers WILL ONLY BE SELLING A LIMITED NUMBER OF ESGS 2015 TICKETS FOR BOTH DAYS. Once these are all sold out, they might not sell tickets anymore because they do not want to waste anybody’s time by going to the venue and possibly not getting in due to maximum capacity inside the venue being reached.
Gariath Concepts, in partnership with other organizers, is the organizing body for ESGS. They are behind successful gaming events such as Pinoy Gaming Festival: Summer Event, Pinoy Gaming Festival (Main) and the recently launched brand (co-organized with Mineski Events Team), E-Sports Tour (EST) among others.
