arkadymac.com is glad to be a media partner for Ozine Fest 2014, the biggest cosplay event this summer. Running three days all throughout the weekend, it has been a long-anticipated affair with its extensive lineup of attractions, and we’re glad to be able to bring you the highlights from Sunday, the third and last day of festivities. We’re also lucky to have our coverage partner Jillian accompany us on our tour of duty as she took photos as well.
The highlight of the event was the individual cosplay competition where cosplayers showed their awesome talents and costumes as they performed to a hyped and appreciative crowd. Around 80 cosplayers competed it the contest, with the eventual winners being Mark Anthony Vibas taking first place with his outstanding and very amusing performance as Deadpool, Elsa of Frozen version. “Let it Go” will never mean the same again with his antics, to the delight of the crowd. He also had his sister with him, Callista Kailey, as Anna, with a joint performance of “For the First Time in Forever” from Frozen. She won as Best Female for her performance. Other winners included 2nd Placer RB Cheng as King Gojulas, 3rd Placer July Mary Rea as Hakuyuu Ren and Ian Quinto as Headmistress Fiora for Best Male.

With the awarding ceremonies, Ozine Fest 2014 drew to a close, with thousands upon thousand attending the three-day affair.
