A fun and fresh new event graced the community as Coslandia 2018 gave attendees a day to remember with a multitude of exciting attractions, contests, special guests and spectacular performances. There was so much to enjoy as the event was held at Movie Stars cafe and Eton Centris Station, making for a very festive Halloween as well over the weekend. arkadymac.com is thrilled to be an official media partner for this new event, and we’re glad to bring you the highlights.
Coslandia promised to give something new and exciting to the community and it made good on their promise with an assortment of attractions at their on-stage and off-stage programs. From cosplay, to idols, to esports, to J-music and to everything in between, Coslandia definitely gave attendees what they wanted and more.
Maxbox Gaming was there to share their experience and insights on the burgeoning esports scene, getting to meet their fans as well as making the crowd happy with giveaways. Their meet and greet was splendidly done by Eric “The Eruption” Tai.
A splendid performance by the Movie Stars Cafe All Stars amazed the crowd as they had their rendition of The Greatest Showman at the Eton Centris event grounds.
And some of them also performed some numbers from the wildly popular anime franchise Love Live.
Even more dazzling performances awaited the excited attendees. Invited guest performers were all eager to show their mettle and entertain the audience with J-music and Japanese-inspired music. Home-grown talents like Alice Project, Pastel PH, Hime Kaizen, JAPH Dolls, Aidoru Sozai, Jewel and Friends, , Osaki7, Yeah Bye, and Fudorakko had the crowd swooning with adoration.
MNL48 was the most awaited attraction of the event, and they did not disappoint their legions of followers as they gave spectacular performances and blew everyone away with an elegant fashion show afterwards.
Coslandia of course featured a very exciting cosplay competitions where contestants donning their finely crafted costumes astounded the audience with their performances.
With lots of attractions going on all over the venue all throughout the day, Coslandia 2018 was definitely worth the price of admission, and we wouldn’t be surprised if this was the start of something even bigger in the future. We congratulate all of the organizers and all their supporters for coming up with a new event that attendees and con-goers everywhere can get excited about again.
