The largest furry convention in Asia bought furries and their fans together at FurryPinas 2019 last June 8-9, 2019 at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig City. With lots of attractions, games, features and surprises, FurryPinas 2019 established itself as an event worth the attention of folks here and abroad. arkadymac.com is FurryPinas’ media partner for the second straight year, and we’re glad to have our newest Correspondent Jane helping us out on our coverage, along with photography by Tep.
Already on its second successful year, FurryPinas has become the largest furry convention in Asia serving as the official annual hub for the furry hobby in the Philippines. The convention seeks to provide attendees with a more active experience during the event. It also provided a more welcoming avenue for those who want to understand and know more about the hobby while providing a safe and happy space for Furries to just have fun, socialize, and enjoy the hobby as a group.
A diverse array of activities went on at the different halls at any given time over the course of the two-day event, giving attendees a wide choice of attractions that would pique their interest. There were a lot of talks, panels, games, activities, parties, and contests happening all over the venue.
Sponsor booths as well as art and merchant booths we’re also a big hit among attendees, offering a wonderful variety of goods, art and merch.
We are glad to see that the local furry community is doing well more than ever before and we hope to see more of them as they make an impact to the local convention and hobby scene.
