Continuing to be one of the most awaited anime and Japanese pop culture conventions during the Holiday season, Ozine Fest Anime Figure Special holds particular significance to enthusiasts, cosplayers, collectors, and congoers everywhere as the event to wrap up a busy year with friends and to indulge in the myriad hobbies and interests that make their lives fun and interesting.
arkadymac.com is Ozine Fest Anime Figure Special 2019’s official media partner for the sixth straight year, and our team was there to cover the festivities. As the event name implies, anime figures from a wide variety of fandoms and makers take the spotlight as exhibitors and collectors got to put on display their best and latest for the public to see and enjoy.
On stage, various attractions like the many eating contests kept the audience lively and engaged, while the anime karaoke contests showcased the community’s talent through various amazing performances, with great prizes awaiting them.
One of the highlights of the event was the Cosplay Competition, where arkadymac.com’s Correspondents and Cosplay Models Celine and Jane were the special guest judges. Contestants got to show off their wonderful cosplays and show off their skills in incredible performances on stage. Amazing prizes awaited the winners at the awarding ceremony.
Of course, the trip to Ozine Fest AFS will never be complete without checking out the many merchant artist booths of all sorts that offered a variety of items and merchandise catering to a wide variety of interests, hobbies and niches, like our good friends at T-Tees, Genki Shoppu and Perry in Disguise.
Then there were the cosplayers who got to be invited to be guests. They had appearances on stage and got to engage attendees at their booths, which includes arkadymac.com’s Cosplay Model Darla.
Ozine Fest AFS 2019 has been a joyous event for attendees who got to indulge in their hobbies over the holidays, and we too got to enjoy ourselves, so our congratulations and gratitude to all of the organizers. Looking forward to their next event come next year. See you all at Otaku Expo 2020!
