Thousands of fans of art and cosplay had much to be happy about last August 27 and 28, 2022 as FanFes@Circuit celebrated creativity in its many forms at the Activity Center of Ayala Malls Circuit, Makati. It was a free admission convention and marketplace that placed the spotlight on fan-derived and original content and content creators.
FanFes@Circuit got to be a sensational showcase of art and creativity were attendees could see, feel and experience the exquisite creations of artists who have poured their passion and talent into artwork, collectibles, merch and accessories, each a unique and veritable masterpiece.
Attendees also got to know more about our local artists by browsing their booths, getting to know about their craft, and purchasing and taking home their one-of-a kind works of art.
These artists here have been honing their craft for years and are always eager to share their love for their many fandoms.
Cosplayers are artists too. They use their creativity and skills and spend a lot of time and effort in bringing their chosen characters to life, and they had come in full force last weekend.
They got to join in the activities like the Fanmart Photo Frenzy Contest where they went to have wonderful pictures around the many amazing locations at Ayala Circuit and got to win wonderful prizes from Fanmart as well.
Cosplayers also got to take part in the Cosplay Circuit Parade where hundreds of cosplayers got to go around the mall and had their photos taken in the many incredible landmarks of Ayala Malls Circuit, much to the delight of mall-goers.
Then there was the Circuit Solo Cosplay Catwalk, a grand display of cosplay showing off the skills and talents that the community has to offer, with wonderful prizes at stake for the winners.
The difficult task of determining the winners among many talented contestants fell on the shoulders of arkadymac.com media members Raven, Jane Yu and Mitchaki, who are exceptional and accomplished cosplayers in their own right.
Among the brilliant performances emerged the winners who took the various terrific awards like Fan Favorite, Best Performance, Best Craftsmanship, and of course our Overall Champion whose prize included an Overnight Stay Hotel Voucher at Seda Hotel Makati.
FanFes@Circuit was a wonderful event that showcased art and creativity in its many forms, proudly displayed by artists and creators who had nothing but utmost love and dedication to their craft. We look forward to many more editions of FanFes in the future.
