Having hosted three huge and exciting legs at various Ayala Malls all over the metro, Ozine Fest got to hold its final installment in Pasig this coming April 29-30, 2023 at Ayala Malls the 30th. Fun and exciting activities and attractions were in store for attendees at this free admission event, which included the World Cosplay Summit 2023-2024 Philippine finals. As a two-day event open to everyone, cosplayers, fans, and hobbyists came in droves to take part in the summer festivities.
Traditionally the community’s most awaited event of the season, Ozine Fest Summer got to hold its final leg at the scenic Ayala Malls the 30th in Ortigas. As a free two-day event, Ozine Fest Summer Wildcard had fan-favorite activities and attractions available for both days.
Always a popular mainstay of Ozine Fest Summer are the sheer number and variety of booths and exhibitors where attendees got to browse and have their fill of all the merch they simply want to have, like figures, toys, artwork, cosplay goods, accessories, and so many more, including great shirts from our good friends at T-Tees.
Ozine Fest Summer 2023 Wildcard was as festive as ever as it provided engaging entertainment for everyone, with exciting programs lined up all weekend long, and one of the crowd’s favorites was the J-Music Singing Competition, where some of the best singers in the community got to show their skills on stage in front of a huge and appreciative audience, with top performers taking home wonderful prizes.
Ozine Fest Summer 2023 Wildcard Day 1 got to feature the World Cosplay Summit Philippines Finals featuring judge and renowned international cosplayer Reika as one of the esteemed judges. With quite a number of teams joining this prestigious, high-stakes international cosplay contest, the WCS Finals showcased some of the best cosplayers putting on the biggest performances of their lives on stage. And among these spectacular performances, Team MD who performed a stunning Hunter x Hunter skit won the top prize and they will be representing the country to the World Cosplay Summit in Japan later this year.
Ozine Fest Summer 2023 at Ayala Malls the 30th then featured the exciting and engaging Wildcard Edition of their Cosplay Competition. arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Rica was one of the judges alongside fellow outstanding cosplayers Ladymadestar, Mercyuyu and Juries Kean. The Cosplay Competition saw many talented cosplayers, impressing the judges and the audience with very skillful and very entertaining performances. The winners who prevailed got tremendous admiration from their peers, as well as taking home wonderful prizes.
And of course, arkadymac.com was there for our beloved community of cosplayers, who got to enjoy the event and the wonderful venue that Ayala Malls the 30th offered. They had memorable photoshoots at the many stylish locations, had their photos taken by mallgoers and fellow cosplayers, and had fun in the company of people with the same fandoms.
