A grand celebration of the Japanese idol phenomenon was in full swing last weekend as Ozine Idol Fest rocked the J-music and cosplay community. Held last April 20-21, 2023 at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces, avid idols and performers and their fans got to gather and share an enjoyable experience they won’t soon forget.
With free entrance, everyone was welcome to attend and partake in the celebration filled with idol groups and performances, along with games, attractions and contests for attendees to enjoy to their heart’s content. Fascinating game booths, merchandise stalls and a souvenir photobooth also made attendees have an unforgettable time.
With idols as the theme, the event prominently featured guest idols and groups whose performances livened and exhilarated the crowd all weekend long, with groups like Cinque, Feedb5ck, Radiant, and Yume Show, as well as holding fan meets at their booths.
Contests like the Cosplay Idol Contest, Idol Pop Performance Contest, Idol Master Game, and Idol Runway were themed contests that filled the idol needs of the many fans and supporters who came to encourage their idols.
Ozine events prides itself in the sheer number and variety of booths and exhibitors where attendees got to browse and have their fill of all the merch they simply love and covet, like figures, toys, artwork, cosplay goods, accessories, clothing, and anything and everything in between. With booths and exhibitors all over the main activity area, con goers definitely had their fill of browsing and purchasing the many unique finds throughout the event, like our friends from T-Tees. New game Paravox was also there to introduce itself to new gamers.
And of course, arkadymac.com was there for our beloved community of cosplayers, who got to enjoy the event and the wonderful venue that Fairview Terraces had to offer. They had memorable photoshoots at the many stylish locations, had their photos taken by mallgoers and fellow cosplayers, and had fun in the company of people with the same fandoms, and we’d like to feature some of them here.
