Yaoi Expo has been a yaoi/BL appreciation event with a focus on creating an audience-centered experience where anyone can enjoy yaoi to the fullest and meet fellow fujos and fudans. Yaoi and BL has become much more than a passing curiosity in the country as people have already been clamoring for it, and the exponential number of people of all walks of life attending has been a testament to that.
