After a very successful year marked by well-attended and much-talked-about events, The Cosplay Mania 2025: Seasons of Cosplay Series had its festive and fabulous finale with Cosplay Matsuri 2025: Winter Wonderland, held last December 28, 29, and 30, at Function Rooms 2-5 of SMX Convention Center Manila. Providing the community with an event filled with non-stop festivities, contests, special guests, performances and attractions, Cosplay Matsuri 2025 brought a fun and fitting closure to an incredible year for cosplay.
Spanning four entire function rooms, Cosplay Matsuri 2025 was easily one of the biggest editions ever, presenting numerous attractions, with over 200 exhibitors and booths filled with all the merch, toys, accessories and collectibles that attendees loved and appreciated over the holidays, along with the colorful booths of fan-favorite cosplayers, performers and artists at All-Star Avenue.
Cosplay Matsuri 2025 was made even more spectacular with special guest cosplayer Kiyo, delighting the crowd with special appearances on stage, judging two big cosplay contests, as well as fascinating fans with Autograph Signing and Photography Sessions throughout the three days of the event.
An amazing variety of lively and engaging daily stage programs filled with fun and exciting activities kept attendees enthralled and engaged, like Cosplay Auction, End of the Line, the Ano Na Wa Name Game, Open Mic Karaoke and a number of raffles..
Crowd-favorite competitions kept attendees hooked as they cheered for their favorites at Anisong It Singing Contest held over all three days.
The Dokuen Cosplay Competition featured incredible performances from talented cosplayers from across the community as they competed for recognition, awards and prizes.
, while the Doujin Cosplay Duo showcased skillful teams vying for the honor of representing the country at the Jakarta International Cosplay Championship, with the Misfits team winning this prestigious distinction.
Talented guest performers, artists and Vtubers got to complete the festive atmosphere with on-stage spectacles for festival-goers to enjoy as SoulSync, Irisé, Sen Stellaria, ICON, Xylia Skylark, and AsFire thrilling the crowd with exciting performances. There was also a fascinating kendo demonstration by the Iga Kendo Club.
The Cosplay Mania Event Serties for 2026 was unveiled to the delight of its long-time fans, while the amazing guests for Cosplay Carnival 2026 and its JAM Concert shocked the fans and heightened anticipation for next year’s edition.
With all these exciting attractions and activities, Cosplay Matsuri 2025 was one big year-end gathering that the community got to enjoy with the ones they care about as everyone prepares for another incredible year of cosplay ahead.
