The cosplay community finally gets a big boost of excitement after a crippling pandemic as the inaugural launch of Cosplay Up roars into the local event scene this June 18 and 19, 2022 at Penthouse at 28 in Quezon City. Organized by One Final Dream, an ardent cosplay fan group which aims to invite cosplayers from all over the world, Cosplay Up is a cosplayer-centered event which will feature exciting and memorable activities like studio photoshoots, stage games, and performances.
As an event which strives to bring cosplayers together, Cosplay Up presents an impressive roster of guest cosplayers from here and around the world. Baobao is a cosplayer, content creator, and streamer from Hong Kong but is currently based in Malaysia. Some of the many notable characters she has cosplayed are Asuna (Sword Art Online), Kurumi (Date A Live), Kongou (Kancolle), Nozomi (Love Live!), Hestia (Danmachi), Inori (Guilty Crown), Aqua (Konosuba), and Emilia (Re:Zero). More importantly, it’s her second time back here in the Philippines.
Sally Dorasnow is a cosplayer and content creator who hails from Malaysia. Fresh off her gig at Anime Fest, her recent cosplayed characters include Yor Forger (Spy x Family), Yae Miko (Genshin Impact), and Marin Kitagawa (My Dress Up Darling).
Zackt is just fresh off his Uniqlo gig as Cloud Strife for promoting the Final Fantasy collection, he has charmed us with cosplays of Muzan (Demon Slayer), Loid Forger (Spy x Family), and Shoto Todoroki (My Hero Academia) to name a few.
Roxanne Kho is an ambassadress for MSI Gaming who has graced us with notable cosplays from well-known series like Shinobu of Demon Slayer, Raiden of Genshin Impact, Tifa of Fina Fantasy, and Black Widow of Marvel among others.
Jane Yu is a correspondent of cosplay website arkadymac.com. She has already cosplayed numerous characters like Inori (Guilty Crown), Zero Two (Darling in the Franxx), Asuka Langley (Neon Genesis Evangelion), and just recently, Yor Forger (Spy x Family).
Diane Sabandeja is a cosplayer and content creator who hails from Cebu, and it’s her 2nd time back with One Final Dream.
Katiecakey is known for cosplaying sexy characters and also does gravure modeling. She’s also a regular in artist/cosplayer booths whenever there’s a convention.
Lia Bear is a cosplayer who also does gravure modeling. She has been a staple at every local con that it’s not difficult to recognize her.
