Continuing to satisfy the guilty pleasures of its ardent community for many years now, Yaoi Expo carries on with its quest deliver its unique brand of entertainment and attractions for its discerning audience last September 21, 2024 at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig. Filled to the brim with sensational activities, exhibitors and attractions, Yaoi Expo 2024 was a haven where adult fans can enjoy yaoi to the fullest.
As a long-running series of community events, Yaoi Expo has been an unabashedly a yaoi, shounen-ai, and BL appreciation event with a focus on creating a unique audience-centered experience, where adults can delve into the world of yaoi and meet fellow fujos and fudans. Over the years, Yaoi and BL has become much more than a passing curiosity in the country and around the world, with its growing number fans continuing to consume as much content as they can lay their hands on. This is likely why Yaoi Expo has continued to attract more and more attendees every year, ranging from the curious to the hardcore.
Filled with thrills and guilty pleasures, Yaoi Expo 2024 was as lively and colorful as ever, with fans enjoying cosplaying their favorite BL characters, or were busy browsing for and purchasing art and merchandise from the many fantastic exhibitors and artists to be had all around the venue. Attractions like the exclusive Red-Blue Lounge which included access to the entire Danzi Engine animation library were quite popular.
Engaging stage activities like a raunchy version of Bring Me, Yaoi Manga Reenactment, YX Pop Quiz, PP Noice Henyo, and BL Sing Along kept the audience invested and excited, with gleeful cheers filling the venue,led by hosts Knox and Porukun.
Special guests and performers like DayJobÜ, Cheems/Pinkku and Vin kept the event extra lively and enjoyable.
Yaoi Expo 2024 was an engaging and enjoyable event that got to bring fans of yaoi and BL together as they spent a memorable day in indulging in their guilty pleasures.
