One of the biggest cosplay projects ever assembled in the country had come to its 5th and what could be final installment. The Extreme Moments Out-of-Town Cosplay Project Series started over a year ago, and from its audacious start at Capones Island it has since spanned some of the most beautiful locations in the Philippines, and it has made what would most likely be its final stop at historic Corregidor. After months of extensive and careful preparations, TeamXM, the organizers behind the Extreme Moments Out-of-Town Cosplay Project Series, got to pull off another amazing feat with Extreme Moments 5, “The Final Wrath,” where 88 talented cosplayers, photographers and their supporters went on a cosplay adventure of a lifetime to the fortified island south of Manila Bay. arkadymac.com was there as the media team to have covered all five installments of the series.
The cosplay odyssey that started a year ago and spanned some of the most beautiful locations in the Philippines will be making its fifth and final stop at historic Corregidor. After months of extensive and careful preparations, TeamXM, the organizers behind the Extreme Moments Out-of-Town Cosplay Project Series, have just announced that Extreme Moments 5: The Final Wrath will heading to the fortified island south of Manila Bay this November.
A total of 61 intrepid souls sailed off to distant Fortune Island off the coast of Batangas for one of the most ambitious collaborative efforts the Philippine cosplay community has ever seen. Extreme Moments: Castaways pushed the limits of creativity, skill and imagination of cosplayers and photographers alike in an out-of-town outdoor adventure of a lifetime.
After two wildly successful adventures in scenic Capones Island and Mount Samat this year, the Extreme Moments Out-of-Town Cosplay Project Series continues to take Philippine cosplay and photography to the next level, being the first cosplay group to be granted the privilege to shoot at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, an open-air museum and heritage park in Bagac, Bataan. Set in a rustic locale of restored historic mansions and surrounded by mountains, forests and the sea, Extreme Moments 3, with its 60 intrepid participants, provided all the elements for a cosplay experience like no other.
“With all of the memories we shared, we bid you adieu.” These are the final parting words we got to hear from the head organizer, James Paolo Angeles, of the very renowned exclusive project named “Daydreams.”
All good things come to an end, but this ending is not a sad one. Daydreams 3 reaches its last edition: the Final Spectacle, but it will go down in living memory as one of the best collaborative efforts the local cosplay community has ever seen. arkadymac.com has been a part of this endeavor since the very first Daydreams, so we are glad to bring our readers the highlights of this amazing project and are equally glad to have seen it through the end.
