The arkadymac.com hasn’t had our own cosplay shoot in a long while, so we were glad to have had the chance to do one based on the hit anime series Rascal Does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, featuring our Cosplay Model Lucia as Mai Sakurajima with Jiggy as Sakuta Azusagawa.
While appearing to be a slice-of-life series, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai or Seishun Buta Yarō delves into the supernatural, giving off the vibe of the Monogatari series and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It’s a splendid show with several character story arcs woven together to create a satisfying series.
In lieu of its popularity, especially with most of the people in coscomm cosplaying the bunny girls, this pair decided to cosplay their uniform versions—which is something the two characters, Mai and Sakuta, actually did wear most of the time for the whole series.
We all had fun reenacting the scenes as we shot around UP Diliman campus.
A film adaptation of series entitled “Rascal Does Not Dream of Dreaming Girl the Movie” will premiere on June 15, 2019, and hoping every anime fan can watch it.
