From its humble beginnings as an obscure anime review blog in September of 2012, arkadymac.com has since become a fully-fledged website and media organization as it celebrates its 10th anniversary of service to the Filipino Cosplay Community . arkadymac.com has had the earnest desire to present cosplay to a wider audience through articles and features that shows cosplay is an enjoyable, gratifying, and fulfilling activity and hobby that anyone can pursue.
Spanning ten years of the local cosplay scene, being the media partner and having covered more than 500 cosplay, anime, gaming, J-culture, J-pop, toy and hobby events all over the country, arkadymac.com has been a witness to the phenomenal growth of the local cosplay community, once only a small enclave of pioneers has grown exponentially into the tens of thousands who attend events on a regular basis. Indeed many individuals and cosplay groups have already held events and programs that allow the community to help out in their own special way, like National Cosplayers of the Philippines and Heroes of Hope, and arkadymac.com has been happy to support their endeavors by covering their charity events to reach a wider audience for better awareness among the public.
