Taking inspiration from a star festival in Japan, Otaku Expo Tanabata Festival 2024 will be treating its thousands of avid fans on a celebration this coming August 31 – September 1, 2024 at the Megatrade Halls SM Megamall. With an entrance fee of only Php 280, attendees will get to enjoy a lot of attractions, guest performers, special guests, games and contests spread all throughout the weekend, giving the community a reason to gather and have fun with their fandoms.
Otaku Expo Tanabata Festival 2024 will feature a lot of the community’s beloved contests and competitions. The Kimono Cosplay Competition has been a mainstay of the Tanabata Festival, and will be giving huge cash prizes. The Pet Cosplay competition has been a fan favorite as participants from the community dress up their furry companions. The Singing Contest has always been popular with the crowd and will feature some of the best voices in the community. Meanwhile, the Battle of the Bands is back, and fans are already excited to catch the best bands in the community play their incredible music in front of a live audience.
Special guest cosplayers and personalities will be coming in from all over to join the festivities and bring even more color and engagement at Otaku Expo Tanabata Festival 2024 for stage appearances and meet and greets, including Hakao, Momo, Mon, Lia Bear, Kris Rey, Amara TV and arkadymac.com’s Correspondent and Cosplay Model, Jane Yu.
