arkadymac.com was happy to be the media partner for Cosplay Fest Philippines, the newest cosplay event this year. Heldlast Easter Sunday, Cosplay Fest rocked the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wild Life Amphitheater with music, fun and excitement all throughout the day.
More than a hundred folks comprised of cosplayers, musicians, photographers, enthusiasts and their friends came to partake in the festivities. There were a variety of activities happening at any given time. The program was hosted by seasoned cosplayer David d’Angelo as Master Pogi.
There were bands playing J-rock all through the day keeping the attendees delightfully entertained. The bands who performed were Wakaranai, Myo’hako, Aizukurimu, Asterysk*, Ikuzo iwa, and Stigma of Disgrace. Dance group Raindrop put in a wonderful dance performance as well.
There was an exciting cosplay catwalk where the cosplayers showed their talents on stage in front of an appreciative audience. There were contests with giveaways every now and then as well as interesting features like a magic show and a face painting booth. And of course all throughout the day and everywhere in the park there were cosplay photoshoots happening.
All in all a fun event organized by Otaku Tayo and Otaku Zutto in cooperation with affiliated groups and media partners. Congratulations to all those who have organized and taken part in this affair and we hope to be part of the next installment real soon.
