Internationally renowned cosplayer Liui Aquino was at the Cosmic Bytes Cosplay Shop booth last weekend at the O-kun Fiesta event to do autograph signings for his first photobook, Liui Aquino’s Cosplay Journal. Liui has become quite the prominent cosplayer, being invited to many international cosplay and anime events in many different countries because of his splendid cosplays.
Fans turned up in droves to get copies of Liui’s photobook, all thrilled to see their cosplay idol in the flesh cosplaying as Tadashi Hamada of Big Hero 6.
Those who got their copies of the photobook got to have them signed, making them more memorable. The photobook features some images of his best cosplays to date, and they have been sold out in the countries Liui has made guestings.
Our Cosplay Correspondent and Genki Girl Stephanie also took the opportunity to get her copy and have it signed at the Cosmic Bytes booth. Getting his autograph and having a photo with him was quite an experience for her.
Fans got to share some moments, selfies and groupies with the cosplayer who they truly admired, and Liui got to enjoy his time together with friends and fans who have continued to support and cheer him on despite his really busy schedule.
