It was an interesting weekend at the Manga and Anime Festival at Megatrade Hall 1 of SM Megamall. It featured the Philippine book launch of the Attack on Titan and Fairy Tail manga titles. There were special guests, contests, attractions, booths, and a cosplay competition in store for attendees, celebrating love for all things manga and anime.
Helping us out with bringing the highlights was our coverage partner Jillian Rose.
Also made the rounds with our Cosplay Models Irene, Yanna, and Nicolette.
We got to check out the many attractions there, like PSICOM booth and the other sponsor booths:
As well as exhibitor booths like our friends from Cosmic Bytes Cosplay Shop and Perry in Disguise.
There was the Battle of the Bands contest eventually won by Project Materia:
As well as on-the-spot drawing contests.
The highlight of the event was the cosplay competition with the main categories being Attack on Titan and Fairy Tail-based cosplays.
Winners from the different categories were announced later on with great prizes given away.
Of course we were also there for the costrippers who were enjoying the event.
