It was a successful comeback for one of the community’s most awaited events as TAGCOM finally returned as a live convention. On it’s 14th incredible year, TAGCOM has brought hobbyists, artists, collectors, cosplayers, K-pop fans and all kinds of enthusiasts from all over to Megatrade Hall 3 last September 3 to 4, 2022. It was a two-day festivity and gathering featuring lots of booths as well as many attractions and stage activities that attendees got to enjoy.

TAGCOM at its very heart has long been treating its loyal attendees to the best of toys, hobbies, games, comics and collectibles. With over 60 exhibitors booths by toy sellers and retailers, TAGCOM is a paradise for collectors and enthusiasts everywhere, with amazing displays, exhibits and dioramas all over the venue.

A familiar and well-loved attraction at TAGCOM has been the Gundam Caravan, where long-time enthusiasts and he curious alike can assemble Gundam kits and purchase the latest models.

TAGCOM has always been supportive of the cosplay community, which is why may cosplayers were in attendance for the event. This year, Otacute hosted a very engaging cosplay competition which showcased the talent and creativity of the contestants. Very wonderful prizes given away to winners and participants at the awarding ceremony. There was a lolita fashion contest as well in line with the Welcome to Wonderland Grand Tea Party Event happening September 10.

Day 2 of TAGCOM saw the K-pop community in full force, participating in the K-pop consplay and dance competitions held throughout the day. Their energy and passion for K-pop knew no bounds as numerous fans joined the contest by themselves and by groups, having memorable performances of stage to the cheers of an appreciative crowd.

All in all, TAGCOM was a fun and engaging event appreciated by the many fandoms over an entire weekend. We commend the organizers of TAGCOM, Hobbiworx, for a job well do, and we look forward to more excitement at their next event, Collecticon, scheduled later this year.
