The bright lights never seemed to dim down even after Otaku Pop Fes 2026 came to an end last April 25-26, at Okada Manila. Everyone was in for a show the moment they entered the doors to witness phenomenal performers and eye-catching exhibits.
Starting at the community stage, just when the gates start to open, DJ Kazu was already making beats to get the party started. At the same time at the Cove, the Cosplay Cup Runway was brimming with masterful props, intricate cosplay designs, and breathtaking visuals brought by the semi-finalist winners.
It was a tough competition, especially right after each competitor gave their best on stage. After much deliberation, the winners have been decided, with JP Gariguez being in 1st place and winning 20,00 PHP.
While a couple of anime screenings were underway, the official merchandise of many beloved anime shows was on display, ready to be purchased and taken home by their chosen owners. Not only that, but each exhibit has also given away freebies to all attendees, including bags, fans, and some collection cards to take home. Practical items that made the experience of everyone attending much smoother.
Let’s not forget the highlight of the night, the live music to close off both days with a bang. Performers Eir Aoi, DJ Kazu, and UNIS took to the stage to deliver a night many will remember in their hearts.
